Fixed glass partition
A floor to ceiling partition that lets light through and holds sound back. The standard for office layouts.
Steel look partition

Sound is usually the real question
Almost everyone asks for a glass partition for the light. In practice the conversation is always about sound.
Single glazing
Stops sight and draughts, sound hardly at all. Fine for an open plan office with zones.
Double glazing
Two panes with a cavity between them. The difference is immediately audible in a meeting room.
Junction with ceiling and floor
In practice this is where most of the sound escapes. A good seal often does more than thicker glass.
Yes. A system partition is demountable and can be moved when the layout changes. It does need new junction profiles and seals, and sometimes an adjusted glass size. We come and look at the space again.
That depends mainly on single or double glazing and on the junction with ceiling and floor. For a meeting room where confidential conversations happen we recommend double glazing with a fully sealed junction.
We use toughened or laminated safety glass in all doors and in partitions people could walk into. A marking goes at eye level so the partition is visible.
The installation itself is quick, often a day per room. Most of the work is in the preparation and in scheduling outside office hours. We can work evenings or weekends if that suits better.
