A glazed internal door separates sound and draughts, but keeps the daylight in the hallway. In a terraced house with a dark hall that is often the difference.
The steel look variant, a black profile with panes of glass, does the same and has been the most requested option in recent years. The profile is usually aluminium rather than steel, which saves on weight and on cost.
What you choose from
Single or double door
A door in an existing opening, or a double door that fills the whole opening.
Glazing bar layout
The number of panes in the glass decides how industrial or how quiet it looks.
Clear or obscure glass
Obscure glass lets the light through but not the view. It can also be combined pane by pane.
Safety glass
An internal door on a circulation route needs toughened or laminated glass.
